Diplotaxis antoniensis is a species of wall rockets that belong to the Brassicaceae family. The species are endemic in Cape Verde and is listed as vulnerable by the IUCN/[1]
Its local name of the species may be called mostarda-brabo (wild mustard). Another related plant on the island is Diplotaxis antoniensis. Also of the species in the island there are Diplotaxis gracilis and Diplotaxis sundingii, found on the island of São Nicolau as well as Diplotaxis glauca of Sal, and Diplotaxis hirta of Fogo.
Distribution and ecology
Diplotaxis antoniensis are founded only in the Island of Santo Antão, mostly present between 450 and 1,300 meters in elevation.[1]
The species are mainly founded in the mountainous parts, they are also founded in sub-humid and semi-arid and sub-humid areas.
