Diplotaxis glauca is a species of aster flowers that belong to the Brassicaceae family. The species are endemic in Cape Verde.[2] The plant was named by Otto Eugen Schulz in 1916.

The species name is of Greek origin with the name glauca (Modern form: γλαυκά).

Its local name of the species is called mostarda-brabo (wild mustard).[2] Another related plant is Diplotaxis gracilis found on São Nicolau, Diplotaxis antoniensis, Diplotaxis gorgadensis founded on the island of Santo Antão, Diplotaxis hirta and Diplotaxis sundingii.

Distribution and ecology

Diplotaxis glauca are founded only in the island of Sal.[2]
