Barking London Borough Council election, 1974

The 1974 Barking Council election took place on 2 May 1974 to elect members of Barking London Borough Council in London, England. The whole council was up for election and the Labour party stayed in overall control of the council.[1]


Election result

Labour comfortably maintained its majority holding all of its' seats. The Residents Association held all 4 of its Councillors. Labour won 45 councillors to the Residents Association 4.[2]
