43 Persei is a star in the constellation Perseus. Its apparent magnitude is 5.28.[2] Located around 37.44 parsecs (122.1 ly) distant,[1] it is a white main-sequence star of spectral type F5V,[3] a star that is fusing its core hydrogen.

The primary star is a spectroscopic binary with period 30.4 days and eccentricity 0.63.[9] In addition, there are distant companions B (separation 75.5" and magnitude 10.66), C (separation 85.6" and magnitude 12.18), and D (separation 68" and magnitude 13.43).[10]
