31 Persei is a star in the constellation Perseus. Its apparent magnitude is 5.05.[2] Located around 172 parsecs (560 ly) distant,[1] it is a blue main-sequence star of spectral type B5V,[3] a massive star that is currently fusing its core hydrogen. The star is a member of the Alpha Persei Cluster of stars.[9]
