The 2012–13 Sporting Clube da Praia season were in the island and top division of Cape Verdean football. Already qualified into the nationals last season as they won their 9th title, they would be regional champions and played in the national championships.[1][2]

The club scored a total of 42 goals. Of which, a third repeat of a total of 36 was scored in the Santiago South League and just six in the national championships. Their total points was 57 for the island and 9 in the national championships.

Santiago Island League (South)

The 2011-12 season started second for the first two rounds and took the lead from Boavista Praia for the number one spot which held it for the remainder of the season. Also, Sporting had no single loses that season.[1]

Their highest point of 48 would be the second highest for the club behind 49 made in 2005. Since 2017, this total is now the second highest for the club as their 55 became the first made in the 2016-17 season.

Cape Verdean National League

The club achieved entry into the national championships after winning the regional title of Santiago South, this was also their ninth consecutive.

The club participated in Group B and finished third 9 points 2 wins and 4 draws and failed to qualify into the playoffs.[1][2]
