WWE Backlash

Backlash was een jaarlijkse professioneel-worstelevenement op pay-per-view-basis dat geproduceerd wordt door de World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Het werd voor het eerst gehouden in 1999 en wordt normaal gesproken in april gehouden (met uitzondering van 2005). Van 2004 tot en met 2006 was het exclusief voor WWE Raw.

Het was het eerste PPV evenement buiten de Grote Vier (Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series en Royal Rumble) waarop alle drie de brands verschenen, toen de WWE stopte met exclusiviteit van een PPV voor een Brand. Er zijn voornamelijk rematches van Wresltemania op Backlash, wat ook terugslag betekent. Het is de eerste PPV die volgt na Wrestlemania.
