Storsjøen (Rendalen)

Storsjøen (or Storsjø[2]) is the ninth-deepest lake in Norway at 309 metres (1,014 feet) in depth. It lies in Rendalen and Åmot municipalities which are in Innlandet county, Norway. The lake is 35 kilometres (22 miles) long, but only 1.7 kilometres (1.1 miles) wide at its broadest point. The lake lies 251 metres (823 feet) above sea level, has an area of 51 square kilometres (20 square miles) and a volume of 7.07 cubic kilometres (1.70 cubic miles).
