New York's 62nd State Senate district is one of 63 districts in the New York State Senate. It has been represented by Republican Senator Rob Ortt since 2015, succeeding retiring fellow Republican George Maziarz.

Geography

District 62 covers all of Niagara and Orleans Counties, including the city of Niagara Falls, as well as the towns of Sweden and Ogden in Monroe County.[3]

The district overlaps with U.S. congressional districts 25, 26, and 27, and with New York State Assembly districts 134, 139, 140, 144, 145, and 146.[4]
