New York's 60th State Senate district
New York's 60th State Senate district is one of 63 districts in the New York State Senate. It has been represented by Republican Senator Chris Jacobs since 2017, succeeding retiring Democratic Senator Marc Panepinto, who was later sentenced to prison on corruption charges.

Geography
District 60 is located entirely within Erie County in Western New York, including parts of Buffalo and the surrounding suburbs of Brant, Evans, Grand Island, Hamburg, Orchard Park, and the city and town of Tonawanda.[3]
The district overlaps with U.S. congressional districts 26 and 27, and with New York State Assembly districts 140, 141, 142, 145, 147, and 149.[4]
