Ivesdale, Illinois

Ivesdale is located at 39°56′41″N 88°27′25″W (39.944595, -88.456860).[5]

According to the 2010 census, Ivesdale has a total area of 0.83 square miles (2.15 km²), all land.[6]

At the 2000 census there were 288 people in 117 households, including 84 families, in the village. The population density was 384.4 people per square mile (148.3/km²). There were 121 housing units at an average density of 161.5 per square mile (62.3/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.31% White, and 0.69% from two or more races.[8] Of the 117 households 28.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.7% were married couples living together, 8.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.2% were non-families. 25.6% of households were one person and 11.1% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.46 and the average family size was 2.92.

The age distribution was 20.5% under the age of 18, 10.1% from 18 to 24, 28.5% from 25 to 44, 27.8% from 45 to 64, and 13.2% 65 or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 92.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.4 males.

The median household income was $45,938 and the median family income was $51,964. Males had a median income of $42,083 versus $21,696 for females. The per capita income for the village was $18,829. None of the families and 3.5% of the population were living below the poverty line.
