Ayers Township was formed from a portion of South Homer Township on an unknown date.

Geography

Ayers is Township 17 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian and part of Range 14 West of the Second Principal Meridian.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 22.88 square miles (59.3 km2), all land.[2]
