Location of Welwyn in Saskatchewan

Welwyn is a community in southeastern Saskatchewan, near the Manitoba border. The community was named for Welwyn, in Hertfordshire, England at the suggestion of James Wake, who homesteaded just across the Manitoba border.[1]
