Velký Beranov (Czech pronunciation: [ˈvɛlkiːˈbɛranof]) is a village and municipality (obec) in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 10.16 square kilometres (3.92 sq mi), and has a population of 1,303 (as at 28 August 2006).
Velký Beranov lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of Jihlava and 118 km (73 mi) south-east of Prague.
