The Wave (German: Die Welle) is an upcoming web television series and the third German series produced for Netflix after Dark and Dogs of Berlin. It is based on both the German 2008 film of the same name and its source material The Wave, a novel by Todd Strasser.[2][3][4][5] Production on the series started in April, 2018.[6][1]
