Stine, Nevada

Stine is an extinct town in Lincoln County, in the U.S. state of Nevada.[1]

History

A post office called Kershaw was established in 1892, the name was changed to Stine in 1904, and the post office closed in 1909.[2] The community was named after Marcus Stine, a businessperson in the mining industry.[1] Variant names were "Cana" and "Stine Station".[1]
