 South Levantine | |
South Levantine (Arabic: اللهجة الشامي الجنوبية), a subdivision of Levantine Arabic, is spoken in the HaZafon district of Israel,[3] south of Lebanon, and is present in the State of Palestine, as well as in the western area of Jordan (in the ‘Ajlun, Al Balqa’, Al Karak, Al Mafraq, ‘Amman, Irbid, Jarash, and Madaba governorates).[4]
