Somerset Dam is a town and a locality in the Somerset Region, Queensland, Australia.[1][2]
History
The town is named after the dam, which was named after local pastoralist Henry Plantagenet Somerset, the Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly for Stanley from 1904 to 1920.[1]
