Geography

The former census town was combined with other urban units to form Dhanbad Municipal Corporation in 2006.[1][2]

Saraidhela is part of Ward No. 39 of Dhanbad Municipal Corporation.[3]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[4] Saraidhela had a population of 24,183. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Saraidhela has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 84%, and female literacy is 72%. In Saraidhela, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
