Rohraband is a neighbourhood in Dhanbad in Jharkhand state, India.

Geography

The former census town was combined with other urban units to form Dhanbad Municipal Corporation in 2006.[1][2]

Rohraband is spread over parts of Ward No. 52 and 53 of Dhanbad Municipal Corporation.[3]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[4] Rohraband had a population of 4,284. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Rohraband has an average literacy rate of 62%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 74%, and female literacy is 48%. In Rohraband, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
