Picozoa are a phylum of marine unicellular heterotrophic eukaryotes with a size of less than about 3 µm. The first species identified therein is Picomonas judraskeda.[1] They probably belong in the Archaeplastida.[2]

A study published in 2015 previously placed this species in the Hacrobia.[3]
