Palmers Green railway station, in Aldermans Hill, is in the London Borough of Enfield in north London, located within Travelcard Zone 4. It is 6 miles 50 chains (10.66 km) down the line from London King's Cross.[2] The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by Great Northern.

The station was originally named Palmers Green & Southgate.

There is a regular Sunday Community Market in the station car park.[3] Platform 1 has a sheltered waiting room.

Services

The service runs to Moorgate via Highbury & Islington . The service uses Class 313 soon to be Class 717 EMUs, as these are the only units cleared to Moorgate. The station features a Shere FASTticket self-service ticket machine, accepting cash, debit cards and credit cards.

The typical off-peak weekday service is 3 trains per hour to Moorgate, and 2 trains per hour to Hertford North and one per hour to Letchworth Garden City via Stevenage.[4]

At weekends, the service is a half hourly service to Moorgate & Hertford North and an hourly service to Stevenage. Weekday late evening & weekend trains formerly ran/to/from London King's Cross prior to the December 2015 timetable change, but now run to Moorgate all week.
