TSRTC connects Nallakunta with all parts of the city. Most frequent buses in this route are 2 No buses connecting between Secunderabad and Koti and 3 No buses from Koti to ECIL. The closest MMTS Train station is at Vidyanagar near Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital.

Education

This place has become a major educational hub in recent times. When it comes to schooling, "St Gabrial's Educational High School" stands on top to choose with good standards of learning.And next comes many engineering aspirants study in the numerous junior colleges here.

Very famous for IIT-JEE Coaching institutes. Nano Junior College, IIT Study Circle (Ramaiah's Institute), SriMega Study Circle,Krishna murthy, Delta Educational Academy are well known for this. Students from all across the country come here to prepare for IITJEE. There is some rumour mongering by its competitors, who put Nallakunta as a declining hub of IIT,but still the students verdict and educationalists choice are the coaching centres here in Nallakunta.

Temples

The Sringeri Shankar Math established in Nallakunta is the oldest of the branch maths in Hyderabad. The Pratishtha kumbhabhishekam of the temples was performed by the 35th Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji on the day of Akshaya Tritiya in 1960 - 26 April 1960[2]. Navaratri is celebrated grandly here with rituals and cultural programmes[3]. The temple sees heavy footfalls during this period.
