Asif Nagar is located near Mehdipatnam in Hyderabad, India. It is part of the Old City, Hyderabad. It is a Mandal in Hyderabad District. This was an legislative assembly seat in its name, now after delimation this area comes in Nampally seat.

History

After the Nizam captured Golconda in 1724 from the Moghuls, he camped near the fort in a village. Later it was renamed Asifnagar.[3]
