Mahendranagar Airport (IATA: XMG, ICAO: VNMN) is an airport serving Mahendranagar,[1] a city in the Kanchanpur district of Province No. 7 in western Nepal. The airport is capable to handle aircraft from the Nepalese Army Air Service. It is the main tourist gateway to Shuklaphanta National Park. The airport was opened on 30 December 1973 but is currently not in operation.[2]
Facilities
The airport resides at an elevation of 650 feet (198 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway which is 884 metres (2,900 ft) in length.[1]
