Lahore Garrison University (Urdu: لاہور گیریژن یونیورسٹی‬‎) LGU is a private university situated in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The university was established by the Pakistan army.[3] It has two campuses in the townships of DHA and Lahore Cantonment.

LGU runs undergraduates, graduates, Masters, M. Phil and PhD programs in various disciplines. University offers competent, qualified accomplished & multidisciplinary faculty. University is establishing Digital Forensics Research & Service Centre, it would be the first kind of digital forensics lab in Pakistan. LGU has signed MoUs with numerous organizations. More than 4000 students are studying in university along with 300 qualified staff and 18 departments. University is offering 25 professional courses.

it provides 50% scholarship for army servant child's and 100% of shaheeds child's and also student can get scholarships if they get 3.5 CGPA or above.

Campus

The main campus has 74 kanals, comprising academic blocks with class rooms, laboratories, auditorium, library and cafeteria. Lahore Garrison University (Main Campus) is located in DHA Phase 6, Sector C, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Jinnah campus of LGU, which houses the intermediate, boys and girls sections of the university, is situated at 52-Tufail Road, near Flag Staff House crossing of Aziz Bhatti Road in the heart of Lahore Cantonment.

The university works under the leadership of Maj Gen (Rtd.) Obaid bin Zakria.

Research

LGU established a Digital Forensics Research Center that is the first of its kind in Pakistan.[4] The lab will be able to address all the cyber security needs of Pakistan. It will also provide the training to professionals.[5]
