Etymology
The train is named after the Krishna river which flows from the city of Vijayawada and the train was first started from there itself. Later, it was extended up to Secunderabad and Nizamabad now up to Adilabad.[3]
Route and numbering
This train runs via Mudkhed, Secunderabad, Vijayawada and Gudur. The train starts at Adilabad and reaches Tirupati.[4]
