Kedarnath (transl. The lord of the field; Hindi pronunciation: [keːdaːɾnaːtʰ]) is a 2018 upcoming Indian Hindi-language film written,[2] and directed and co-produced by Abhishek Kapoor. It features Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles.

The film's production began in June 2017,[3] and principal photography commenced in September 2017.[4]

The film's principal photography began on 5 September 2017.[4] Singh's portions of the shoot was completed on 16 June 2018. [5][6]

In February 2018, a dispute between director Abhishek Kapoor and the producers KriArj Entertainment[7] led to a lawsuit that threatened the completion of production.[8] The producers later clarified their intent to continue production.[9]

Release

The film was scheduled for release in June 2018,[10] but was postponed to 30 November 2018.[11]
