Jabariya Jodi[1][2] (transl. Forced Couple) is an upcoming Indian comedy film starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra.[3][4] The film is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Shailesh. R. Singh and is directed by Prashant Singh.[5][6]

The filming began on August 10, 2018 in Lucknow, Barabanki and Raebareli.[7][8]

The first teaser was released by producer Ekta Kapoor on August 11, 2018 on her Twitter account that explained what the title Jabariya Jodi actually means.[9]

Marketing

The first look of the film was revealed by Ekta Kapoor on her Twitter handle on 20 August 2018.[10] It showed Parineeti and Sidharth lost in each other but in between them, there is a groom tied and unconscious.
