Shobha Kapoor is an Indian television and film producer. She is the Managing Director of Balaji Telefilms, a TV serial production house in Mumbai, India, run by her daughter, Ekta Kapoor. She is the wife of veteran actor Jeetendra.
Kapoor takes care of the overall administrative and production activities of Balaji Telefilms. She has produced many Hindi soap operas including Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2001) and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2000) among other hits.
Kapoor is married to actor Jeetendra. The couple has two children, Ekta Kapoor (b. 1975), who is a producer, and Tusshar Kapoor (b. 1976), who is an actor.
