Indian Central School (Kuwait)

Indian Central School is a progressive Senior Secondary Public School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. This School is also a member of the prestigious council of CBSE affiliated schools in the Gulf and shares expertise in the cultural, literary and educational activities.

History

INDIAN CENTRAL SCHOOL – started functioning on 31st August 1988, with the aim of imparting quality education and excelling in producing all round students. It was initially up to Class VIII to which Class IX was added in April 1997. First Board Batch of Class X appeared in the Board Examination in March 1999 and came out in flying colours with 100% result out of which 99.4% students were place in third class. Even the second batch of the school appeared in March 1998 and kept the school flag high with keeping up the tradition of 100% result. This tradition is kept alive by the ongoing batches. The first batch of Senior Secondary (Class II) appeared for Board Examination in March 1999 in two streams. Science and Commerce and gave excellent results.

For fulfilling set objectives, the existing characteristics of the school which are prelude to success are conductive environment – a vast area with 25 big and spacious air conditioned rooms, 3 big play fields which are a rare asset to this school, basket ball and badminton court, 2 gardens and green areas, a well maintained auditorium, a big swimming pool with all facilities, a well equipped library stacked with a lot of selected books covering the school subjects, resource centers for English and Mathematics, and recreational material, an aesthetically done up play room for the Tiny Tots, an open area with plenty of swings for the young ones, a well thought over audio visual room with all the equipment and apparatus room and resource centre with all sorts of aids and implements, four Science labs with the latest facilities, 3 Computer Science labs especially designed to facilitate young students working on them, spick and span toilets, hygienic canteen and two bed Clinic and above all, the teaching faculty adorned with trained, highly qualified and carefully selected teachers.
