GEMS Modern Academy (originally Dubai Modern High School/The Modern High School, Dubai) is an Indian school in Dubai, founded in 1986. Part of the GEMS group of schools, it offers the CICSE and IB syllabus and a day-boarding system.

The yearly fees of the school ranges from Dhs 28,065 to Dhs 66,917 a year depending upon the grade.
Curriculum
Gems Modern Academy offer an CISCE curriculum till grade 12 and an IB Diploma Program for Grade 11 and 12. It follows the ICSE Board syllabus till grade 10 and ISC for grade 11 and 12.
Campus
The Gems Modern Academy campus is based in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, which they shifted to in 2008, their previous campus was located Sh. Zayed Road.
The school has two libraries, one for grades 1-3, and the senior library for grades 4-12. The school has over 200+ computers for children to use
The school has a tennis court which consists of three individual tennis courts, cricket nets, A caged football field, a track and field, consisting of a 400m running track beside a cycling track with another football field inside it. The school has a basketball court comprising three individual basketball courts plus one which is in an open space in the center of the campus. The school also has a venue for table tennis. Badminton is played in a building called the M.P.H. (Multi-Purpose Hall). Badminton, Lunch, assemblies, Exams and a few events are conducted in The M.P.H. The school has an auditorium popularly known as the Sunny Varkey Centre for Performing Arts which hosts several events such as the Rangoli Gulf and Modern World Debates. The school has a canteen just beside the M.P.H. and one more close to the library.
