Hefei Urban Rail Transit (Chinese: 合肥城市轨道交通) abbreviated Hefei Metro (Chinese: 合肥轨道) is a rapid transit system in Hefei, China. Line 1 begun construction on 1 June 2012 and was opened on December 26, 2016.[1] Line 2 opened exactly a year later.[2][3][4][5] Thales Saic Transport is providing the line with urban rail traffic management and CBTC systems.
