The Government of Kosovo (Albanian: Qeveria e Kosovës; Serbian: Vlada Kosova) exercises executive authority in the Republic of Kosovo.[a] It is composed of government ministers, and is led by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is elected by the Assembly of Kosovo. Ministers are nominated by the Prime Minister, and then confirmed by the Assembly.

Ramush Haradinaj is the current Prime Minister of Kosovo. He was elected after the June 9, 2017 elections. His government, approved by the Assembly and installed on September 9, 2017, consists of Albanians, as well as ministers from Kosovo's ethnic minorities, which include Bosniaks, Turks and Serbs.

a. ^ Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia. The Republic of Kosovo unilaterally declared independence on 17 February 2008, but Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory. The two governments began to normalise relations in 2013, as part of the Brussels Agreement. Kosovo has received formal recognition as an independent state from 113 out of 193 United Nations member states.
