Dubai British School is an international school offering a British education to students aged three to eighteen, located in The Springs, Emirates Hills, Dubai.
The school achieved CIS accreditation in 2009–2010 and is part of a family of schools, offering an international curriculum run by the Taaleem Management Group. Although the majority of its students' population are British, DBS caters for over 60 nationalities. Staff are recruited mainly from the UK or from international schools worldwide. Recently Dubai British School was rated outstanding by British School Overseas.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award
Beyond the taught curriculum, students are strongly encouraged to participate in the wide range of activities that DBS offer, the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme or any of the diverse opportunities that makes available to all of DBS students. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (The International Award for Young People) is designed to expand the horizons of those who participate in it. The majority of eligible year groups take part, helping students understand the importance of community, teamwork and perseverance. In past years, the expeditions have included desert walks, mountain climbing and trips to Vietnam, Thailand and Mauritius. In 2010 the school certified its first gold award student.
