Douglas Bridge
Douglas Bridge is a small village near Strabane in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 81 people. It lies within the Strabane District Council area.[1]
The name comes from Irish Dúglas, meaning 'black stream' and the English bridge. Douglas is the townland in which the village lies. The modern Irish name is Droichead na Dúghlaise.[2]
