Rosema is a settlement in the south end of the Lembá District on the western coast of São Tomé Island in São Tomé and Príncipe and is connected with the National Route 2 (EN2). Its population is 777 (2008 est.),[1] Northeast is Neves and not far to the south is Santa Catarina.
Its landmark feature is a roça (Roça de Diogo Vaz), mainly where the settlement was founded upon.

About the village
Agriculture is the dominant industry.
A barnacle species, Conopea saotomensis is founded in the waters near the village and its surroundings, it was first described there.[2]
