Chudasama

The Chudasama are a Rajput clan found in the state of Gujarat in India. The Anthropological Survey of India, which relies heavily on sources compiled during the period of the British Raj, notes that they are "an offshoot of the Samma tribe, probably of Turk origin who entered India during the seventh or eighth century and are found in Kachchh, Junagadh and Jamnagar districts."[1]

Historian and Archaeologist K. V. Soundararajan considers the Chudasama dynasty as originally of Abhira clan.[2]
