Bhimad

Bhimad is a Proposed Submetropolitan City in Tanahu District in the Gandaki Zone of central Nepal. It was created municipality in falgun 2073. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 8414 people living in 2191 individual households.[1] It is 30 minutes from Khairenitar. Because of the historic importance of Bhimad; plan is under pipeline to include shukla gandaki municipality into it and form Bhimad Submetropolitan City in near future for the integrated development of this region.

Simle

Simle is a famous and historical part of the VDC. It is growing as a commercial and economic hub of this area. It is close to Shuklgandaki Municipality. Construction of a motorable bridge from Dovan is under pipeline. Simle has high school, primary school. Community Health Unit at Simle has been planned to expand as a primary health center which has both outpatient and inpatient services soon. Landslide prevention, infrastructure development, urban development plan are the current burning issues of the town.

International Center for the Rural Health

This has been highly sought institution with training capacity in rural health in Simle of the municipality. Integrated health care with strong primary care base will not only focus on curative treatment but will provide preventive and promotive health services to underserved populations. It will also focus research in the field of primary care. Establishment of this institution will expected to transform health care in underserved area and bring socioeconomic changes.

Late Shree Dilli Ram Khanal Airport

Late Dilli Ram Khanal was a first settler among Khanal in Rang Rung (part of the municipality). He has been described as a spiritual and philanthropic personality in this region. Airport has been planned to build in his long lasting memory which will enhance the tourism of this region gaining access to the other major national and international cities. It has been expected to bring the robust economic changes in this area.

Dhhandur Siddha Cave

One of famous cave in this area is located in the municipality is major tourist attraction of the municipality. Cave has many impressions of holy cows, shiva linga, other god and goddesses. This prehistoric cave has been described as a meditation center for maharishis in ancient era. Construction of cable car service is under pipeline from Simle for the better accessibility for domestic and international tourists.

Rangrung Hill Station

Rangrung is famous for its altitude accessing panoramic views of the broad himalayan range. Hill tower with telescope facilities will be constructed in near future. This is famous for the resorts and overnight stays. It has enormous potential for paragliding. This area is also famous for biodiversity. This area is easily accessible through motorable roads from major cities.

Ghrit Koushik Temple

Ghrit Koushik has been described as an enlightened rishi in Hindu mythology. New temple complex will be built at the Simle of the Municipality. The temple is located near the cave at Simle at the foot hill of the Rangrung Hill. New temple will be expected to bring the positive changes in the local communities.

Dholikholso

It is located close to the Baiddhyapani of the municipality which is famous for its location and historical importance. Caves and cliffs of this location had been utilized for the palliative care and isolation of the malaria victims in the history. Utensils used by the victims has been still safeguarded over the cliff. This is also famous site for observation of stars in the universe during the daytime. This has been one of the famous tourist places in this area.

Seti-Kyangdi Conservation project

Highly sough projects has been planned at the federal level to prevent land slide and enhance biodiversity along the banks of Kyangdi Khola and Shukla Gandaki rivers. Project will be expected to protect rapidly urbanized cities in this area.
