Alinagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is an assembly constituency in Darbhanga district in the Indian state of Bihar.
Overview
As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 81 Alinagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Alinagar, Tardih and Ghanshyampur community development blocks.[1]
Alinagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 14 Darbhanga (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]
Election results
In the 2010 state assembly elections, Abdul Bari Siddiqui of RJD won the newly created Alinagar assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Prabhakar Choudhary of JD(U). [2]
