The 2019 Sugar Bowl is a college football bowl game that will be played on January 1, 2019.^[1] It will be the 85th edition of the Sugar Bowl, and will be one of the 2018–19 bowl games concluding the 2018 FBS football season. Sponsored by the Allstate insurance company, the game will be officially known as the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Notes	The 2006 game took place in Atlanta, Georgia due to Hurricane Katrina. The game was also the national title game for either the Bowl Coalition, Bowl Alliance, or Bowl Championship Series in 1993, 1997, 2000, and 2004. There was a Sugar Bowl in January and December in 1972 and 1995. The game was a College Football Playoff semifinal in its 2015 and 2018 editions.
