The 2018–19 season is Manchester City's 117th season of competitive football, 90th season in the top division of English football and 22nd season in the Premier League since it was first created.[1] In addition to the Premier League, the club will also compete in the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Champions League; for the Champions League, it is their eighth consecutive season competing in the competition.

The season covers the period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

City played against Borussia Dortmund at Soldier Field in Chicago, Liverpool at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and Bayern Munich at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Fixtures

The Premier League fixtures for the 2018–19 season were announced on 14 June 2018.[2][3]

EFL Cup

Manchester City entered the competition in the third round and were drawn away to Oxford United.[4] A home tie against Fulham was confrimed for the fourth round.[5]

UEFA Champions League

On 30 August, Manchester City were drawn in Group F of the UEFA Champions League alongside Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon and 1899 Hoffenheim.[6]
