The 2018–19 season is Doncaster Rovers's 140th season in their existence, 16th consecutive season in the Football League and second consecutive season in League One.[1] Along with League One, the club will also participate in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy.

    On 15 June 2018, the draw for the first round was made in Vietnam.[31] The second round draw was made from the Stadium of Light on 16 August.[32]
