พิภพ

From Old Khmer bībhabva, bibhopa, biphopa (“world; wealth, fortune; prosperity; authority, power, might, dignity, greatness; etc”); ultimately from Pali vibhava (“possession; treasure; wealth”) or Sanskrit विभव (vibhava, “possession, treasure, wealth; power, dignity; etc”). Cognate with Modern Khmer ពិភព (piphup).

พิภพ • (pí-póp)

1. (elegant) world; earth; territory; realm; domain.
   • Zechariah 6:7, KJV:

     และตัวสีเทาออกไป พวกมันก็ร้อนใจที่จะออกไปและตรวจตราพื้นพิภพ และท่านกล่าวว่า "ไปซิ ไปตรวจตราพิภพ" ดังนั้นม้าเหล่านั้นจึงตรวจตราพิภพ
