     มาตรา ๑๖๒๐ ถ้าผู้ใดตายโดยไม่ได้ทำพินัยกรรมไว้หรือทำพินัยกรรมไว้แต่ไม่มีผลบังคับได้ ให้ปันทรัพย์มรดกทั้งหมดแก่ทายาทโดยธรรมของผู้ตายนั้นตามกฎหมาย

     Section 1620 If anyone dies without having made a will or [if he] has made a will but [the will] has no effective result, the whole estate shall be distributed to the statutory heirs of that deceased person in accordance with the law.

     When anyone dies without [any] statutory heir or legatee or [without] setting up [any] foundation through a will, the estate of such person devolves upon the State.
