Iguanognathus werneri
Iguanognathus werneri is een slang uit de familie waterslangen (Natricidae). De groep werd lange tijd tot de familie gladde slangen (Colubridae) gerekend maar dit wordt beschouwd als verouderd.[2] Het is de enige soort uit het monotypische geslacht Iguanognathus. Iguanognathus werneri werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door George Albert Boulenger in 1898.

Voorkomen
De soort komt voor in delen van zuidelijk en is endemisch in Indonesië, en alleen op het eiland Sumatra.
