Xenochrophis

Xenochrophis is een geslacht van slangen uit de familie waterslangen (Natricidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van het geslacht werd in 1864 voorgesteld door Albert Carl Lewis Gotthilf Günther. De groep werd lange tijd tot de familie gladde slangen (Colubridae) gerekend.[1]
