Het seizoen 1966/67 van de Nederlandse Eredivisie was het elfde seizoen waarin onder de KNVB-vlag een professionele Eredivisie werd gevoetbald. Er werd vanaf dit seizoen weer gestreden door achttien clubs. Sinds seizoen 1962/63 werd er met zestien clubs gestreden. Door de uitbreiding waren in het voorgaande seizoen drie clubs uit de Eerste divisie gepromoveerd: Sittardia, Xerxes en NAC.

Ajax werd voor het tweede jaar op rij landskampioen. Willem II en Elinkwijk degradeerden.
