Super Dancer

Super Dancer is an Indian Hindi kids dance reality television series, which airs on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony Entertainment Television Asia.The winner of season 1 of this series is Ditya Bhande and Bishal Sharma is the winner of Super Dancer Chapter 2 and Rupsa Batabyal is the winner of Super Dancer chapter 3.[1] The series is produced by Ranjeet Thakur and Hemant Ruprell for their production house Frames Production.[2]

Concept

The show Super Dancer - Dance Ka Kal aims to find a kid prodigy who has the potential to be the future of dance. The kids are aged between 4 and 13 years of age. They are not only required to have 3Ds of dancing - Desire, Discipline and Determination - but also should be a keen learner, adaptable to all dance styles and circumstances and should be a passionate dancer with a unique personality. This show is an ideal opportunity for every kid to hone their talent and dancing skills. [3]

After the initial auditions and mega auditions, 12 Super Dancers are selected to be competing for the title of Dance Ka Kal (future of dance). They are each paired with one choreographer (Super Guru) who has a unique style similar to theirs. These Super Gurus train them, choreograph acts for them and also perform with them. The Super Dancers perform on Saturdays and along with their choreographers on Sunday. The performances are voted by the audience every week on the website or the SonyLiv App. On the basis of the number of votes, one kid is being eliminated every week.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra : Superrr se bhi bahut bahut bahut uperrr.

Geeta Kapoor : Stupendo fantabulously phantasmagorically magical , Khatarnakam vishesham sarvsreshtham atiuttam atiuttam atiuttam .

Anurag Basu : Gaganchumbi , Blockbuster.

Shilpa used to climb ladder, Geeta used to do sajda and Anurag used to break mugs when got surprised by any act.[4]

Power Card Entry

Five contestants - Laxman Kumbhar, Siddhanth Damedhar (both of whom were eliminated from the show earlier), Lakshay Sinha (who couldn't perform earlier in the competition due to his injury), Tiyash Saha and Harsh Dhara (both standby contestants) were called back on 30 October 2016 to gain a Power Card Entry into the competition. The judges chose Laxman Kumbhar & Siddhanth Damedhar and they Re-entered the competition.

Lakshay’s Leg Injury

Lakshay Sinha got injured in leg in early season. He was a splendid dancer & his choreographer was Biki Das who have been seen in DID 4 before.

Ashish’s Dengue Sickness

Ashish Das got sick with dengue in the late season. He still maintained his position with sickness for 1 week. He performed for sometime but was eliminated due to lack of votes.

About Unique contestants

A boy named Harsh Dhara came for the show and the judges selected him for mega in middle of his audition. After his performance it was revealed that the boy had no mother & both he and his father was unable to speak or hear anything. Later on, Sony Entertainment Television decided to treat him & the judges promised him direct entry into grand premiere. He came back in wildcard round. His disease was almost cured. He performed for sometime but the judges did not choose him so he was unable to continue.

Jayabharathy. The 10 years old girl who made judges impressed with her unique dance style and made judges shock with her super moves . she became shilpa shetty's one of the favourite contestant. she was eliminated on July 10.

Masoom Narzary. Super dancer finalist. Narzary is a very famous and talented dancer. Her flexibility makes everyone shock.

Power Card Entry

Three contestants, Vaishnavi Prajapati from Panipat with her Super Guru Manan, Akash Mitra from Patna with his Super Guru Rishikesh Jogdand and Mishti Sinha from Ahmednagar with her Super Guru Palden Lama Mawroh took a return on Power Card Entry. With top 9, voting started. For almost 6 weeks at a stretch, there was not a single elimination on the show. Firstly, Arushi Saxena (known as all rounder of the show) had to leave the show by normal elimination and provided the show Super 8. Mishti Sinha had to bid goodbye to the show due to an injury in her leg. Doctors suggested her to have respite and show got Super 7 .

Robo Girl Trend

Muskan Sharma termed as "robotic girl" of the show had set a trend of perfect indomitable robotics. She pursued such a different and tough dance form making many persons her fan. She performed robotics with contemporary and salsa which gave her a distinct look. Appreciated, she was said as trendsetter by shilpa shetty as the incredible girl invigorated and emboldened many other girls to chase robotics. Her Super Guru Paul always tried to present a message in her dance in which they were invincible. But voted less till super 7, she was eliminated.

5-Year Old Dancers

Akash Mitra is an amazing child on the show. He is super cute and seems to be Anurag Basu's favorite. He is always indifferent to all the situations and is termed as "God Ka Favourite Bachcha". With his Super Guru Rishikesh, this 5 year old showcase his talent in many styles. He is majorly seen in feud with his friend Vaishnavi. he later got eliminated just before top 5.

Vaishnavi is a 5 year old talented girl on the show who gets tickled easily. Judges were shocked when they come to know about her handicapped but willing mentor. She and her Super Guru Manan does simple but effective acts on the stage without getting encumbered.

Varun's Kind Gesture

Moved by the plight of one of the contestants Ritik Diwaker, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan decides to sponsor the 11-year-old boy's education.

In the day of grand finale, Ritik danced on a medley of songs, including "Bulleya", "Dil Diyan Gallan" and the title track of Dangal, and Varun was impressed. He has seen some of his earlier acts too and was bowled over by his happy feet. When he learnt that Ritik's father, Gaurishankar Diwaker, is unable to work as his left hand is nonfunctional, Varun decided to help the child as he did not want his studies to suffer.

Chapter 3

After successfully completing two seasons, the third chapter started on 29 December 2018. The show ended on June 23, 2019.

The Special Guru

Only 11 Gurus came in Mega Auditions. And only 11 children's name were revealed in front of all the Super Gurus. In the grand premiere, the last guru & the student were revealed to be choreographer Shyam Yadav & Nikhil Baghel.

Akshit Money Help

An unknown person credited 3 lakh worth auto rickshaw to Akshit and his family.

Wild Card Entry

Prerna Salvi, Dhairya Tandon, Naitik Singhal & Anwesha Bhatia have taken wild card entry on 21 April 2019. Dhairya and naitik were in audition round while prerna and anwesha were in Super Dancer Maharashtra. Once Geeta Kapoor was invited in SDM as a guest, there she announced that winner and 1st runner up will get an opportunity to came as wild card entrants in Super Dancer Chapter 3.
