Paritosh Tripathi

Paritosh Tripathi is an Indian television actor, comedian and anchor. He is popularly known as TRP Mama[2] with Rithvik Dhanjani in Super Dancer Season.[3]

Career

His passion for acting and mimicry led him to form a theater group, Vayam, during his college days. [5] Paritosh's debut in television was when he appeared in Reality show "Hasi Ka Tadka" in 2010 for Mahua TV. He has acted in many notable soap operas such as Na bole tumne Maine kuch kaha, Lo Kar lo baat, Piya Rangrej, Mahakumbh, whereby his role in Mahakumbh as ‘Punnu Tiwari’ was met with loud applause. He has also hosted reality shows such as Happy hours and Indian idol 9 and a comedy show- Hasi ka Tadka. However, being a host as TRP Mama in Super Dancer season, a reality show with Ritwik Dhajani was a breakthrough in his acting career. Currently, he lives in Mumbai. He made his Bollywood debut with "Kaashi – In Search of Ganga". He also worked in crime patrol for few episodes.

Awards

He won the award for a play "Bade Bhai Sahab" written by Munshi PremChand and directed by Paritosh. This was the first award in his career.

Later, he won the award as the best comedy actor in "Yodha", a Bhojpuri movie directed by Rah Sippi. Also, he received the award for directing a play "Bade Bhai Sahab" written by Munshi Premchand. He won Gold Awards 2017 for best anchoring in Super Dancer with Rithvik Dhanjani.
